Who is responsible

What we collect and why

• Browsing the site. Our hosting provider (Vercel) processes technical data such as IP address and browser type to deliver the pages and protect them from abuse (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Analytics. Only if you accept, we use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) to measure page views and clicks on event links. IP addresses are shortened. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer.
• Event links. When you click “Visit event website”, we count the click (event, time, referring page, country derived from the request) to understand which events are useful. Some links are affiliate links; the organizer may learn that you came from EcomRadar.
• Forms. When you submit an event or send a message, we store what you enter (including your name and e-mail) to review the listing and reply to you (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). We send ourselves a notification e-mail via Resend. Contact details of event submitters are not published.

Where data is stored

Our database runs on Neon (Frankfurt, EU). The website is hosted by Vercel. E-mail notifications are sent via Resend. Google Analytics data may be processed by Google in the USA under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

How long we keep it

Form submissions and messages are kept while needed to handle the request and deleted on request. Click statistics are kept in aggregate form. Analytics data is kept for 14 months.

Your rights

You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent. Write to us via the contact form. You may also complain to your data protection authority.
